We are so excited to introduce our brand new 'Rescuing Titanic' fully resourced English planning.
This beautifully illustrated text tells the powerful true story of the Carpathia, the small ship that heroically changed course in the dead of night to rescue 705 passengers from the icy waters of the North Atlantic. It’s a story of quiet bravery, determination and compassion — and the perfect hook for engaging young writers.
Across six weeks and 30 fully resourced lessons, children will journey alongside the Carpathia, exploring:
• Morse code and distress signals
• Navigation tools and life at sea
• The roles of crew members
• The dramatic, real-life events of this historic rescue.
All while developing key writing and grammar skills in line with the National Curriculum.
