AI Policy Teaching From Text

At Teaching From Text, we are committed to creating high-quality, engaging, and curriculum-aligned English resources for primary schools. While we embrace technology to enhance the classroom experience, we are equally committed to ensuring that every piece of content is grounded in strong educational practice and expertise.

Human-Created Teaching Content

All our lesson plans, teaching resources, and written materials are created by us. We are a team of highly experienced teachers with secure knowledge of the English National Curriculum and primary education. We do not use AI to generate or write any of the core teaching content. Every scheme of work is carefully planned to ensure it is pedagogically sound, age-appropriate, and fully resourced for classroom delivery.

How We Use AI

We use AI in a limited and responsible way to support and enhance our resources:

  • Custom Images for Learning Materials:

We use AI tools to generate engaging, child-friendly images that visually support the texts and topics in our units. These visuals help children connect with stories and concepts in creative ways.

Our Commitment to Quality and Safety

  • All AI-assisted content (images) is reviewed and approved by qualified educators before being included in our resources.

  • We do not use AI for generating lesson plans or written teaching content.

  • No personal data is used in our AI processes. Our tools are strictly content-focused and never involve personal data.

  • We follow responsible AI use practices, aligned with educational values and data protection standards.

Transparency and Trust

We believe that AI, when used thoughtfully, can support creative resource image development, but it will never replace the expertise of a teacher. Our use of AI is strictly limited to enhancing imagery, while all planning and teaching content remains entirely human-created.

For more information or questions about our use of AI, please contact us at contact@teachingfromtext.com
